We finally have babies in our home!!! We were supposed to get them today but yesterday Misty texted me and asked if we'd like them a day early. Of course we would!!! I didn't tell Michael that they were coming because I thought that he needed a happy surprise. He's been working so hard and such long hours without much complaint. I'm so proud of him. Last night was Chicken Pot Pie night at Stephanie's house. I texted her and asked if she minded if the kittens took over her house for a little while so that we could surprise Michael with the kittens. This was all around 3 pm and we were heading to Stephanie's around 4. So while Michael was showering and getting ready I quickly put together a tin with litter, a bowl of food, toys, and the carrier into the car. Washed out the automatic feeders and filled them for the kitchen and got the little box ready in the bathroom. He didn't notice a thing!!! The surprise was so perfect!!! When Misty came into Stephanie's with the kittens, Michael's face lit up! He was shocked! The kittens were scared of poor Roxy... but they'll get used to her. :) Chicken Pot Pie night was a definite success. They were all so different and soooo yummy!!!
