26 weeks and headed to Nashville

I can't believe we're already 26 weeks pregnant, and I have loved and cherished every moment of it.  I told myself at the very beginning that I wasn't going to wish this time away.  I would pay attention to every little kick and every little toss and turn and enjoy it.  I only get to be pregnant with my precious girl once and I don't intend to wish it away or miss a single moment of it.  I now feel her kicks high up on my belly instead of all down low and other people are able to feel her too.  So far Misty, Jennifer and Meghan (from work) and a few of the kids have felt her kicks on their hands.  She kicks under Michael's hand but he can't feel it.  I can't wait for our families to feel her kicks too!!!  She's no longer completely still while I'm up and walking around, and she's actually kicking on my right side right now (Michael's hand is there but he still can't feel it.  I wonder if he has a lack of feeling in his hand or something).  I'm still trying hard not to sleep on my back, but without fail every night I wake up on my back and have to turn over (which is getting harder and harder to do).  I'm considering getting a pregnancy pillow, but they're expensive and I want to make sure I get one that'll be well worth the money.  Maybe I'm putting too much thought into this.

Tomorrow we all fly to Nashville for our first time as a little family.  It'll be a long uncomfortable flight so I'm glad Michael will be there to be miserable with me.  We are really looking forward to showing off our belly and our baby girl to everyone there and getting to celebrate her with a baby shower (big thanks to my amazing family).  Definitely looking forward to eating at El Rey to finally get my Mexican food fix a few times while we're home!!!   Big shout out to Misty and Stephanie for watching our babies (who we'll miss like crazy), keeping an eye on the house, and giving us a ride to and from the airport.  We truly are blessed to have such amazing friends that we can call family so far from home.

Cravings since the last time
I finally got Arby's!!!
Black Tie Cupcakes
Still on the BLT subs from subway almost daily
Mexican food (but I haven't gotten any because there isn't any good Mexican out here)
Cheeseburgers (can't get enough of em... hold the fries)
Cheetos and Sour Cream and Onion Lays
Sushi ( :( can't have what I want though)
Crystal Light Lemonade
Chocolate Milk
Smoothies
Nothing too weird here... except for maybe the no french fries lol

  1. We can't wait to see you 3 either! I know our time will go way too quickly, but we will definately eat some El Rey's while you're here and anything else you want!! And Michael...what shall we cook for you? Oh by the way, we used to just put a pillow behind our backs and that helped a lot. Also maybe a pillow between your knees. Daddy used to call it my nest:)

  2. I know it will go much to fast too... But we'll all enjoy every moment of it. I have started sleeping with a thick stiff pillow behind me or Michael will sleep back to back with me. Also a pillow between my knees and one to hug. Definitely a nest of my own lol
