Snow in Wyoming
Entering Utah
The Salt Lake
The Saltaire
The drive through Wyoming was cold and boring most of the time. I did take quite a few pictures of the snow leaving Cheyenne. We couldn't believe how cold it had gotten. We ended up needed new Windshield wipers... due to trucks throwing water from the road at us. Michael got some at a truck stop and had them on in 15 seconds flat. Cold really knows how to make a man rush. Then it was right back on the road with the heater on. We had fun pointing out Mountains with the most snow on them and taking pictures of them. Once we entered Utah the weather warmed back up and we were back into beautiful mountains... these were red and striped and breathtaking with very intricate shapes. We had originally decided to stay at Hill AFB North of Salt Lake City but it was so early in the day when we got there that we decided to drive on into Nevada. So we stopped at a little stop right by the salt lake called the Saltair... which appeared to be a store but looked more like the Taj Mahal of Utah lol. We made some calls to book a room on the edge of Utah in a City called Wendover at the Rainbow Hotel and Casino. Then after snapping a few photos we were back on our way thought the salt flats headed to Nevada.
